Oh, it was so sweet when that misunderstanding was finally put to rest. Except Ron can't get that one night and the things Paddy said to him out of his head, even though Paddy seems to have no memory of it at all. When Ron and Paddy start working together, Ron realizes there are a lot of things he really likes about Paddy. It made me so mad at our society where body dysmorphia is so prevalent. *grins* I felt so horrible for Ron and all the pain he still carries around from the hateful names his parents called him and the damage ex-boyfriends had done. Although I do have a weakness for a bear. I'm sure there are plenty of them out there, but I'm not a gay man, so I've never gone looking. The authors story this year, 'The Beary Best Holiday Party Ever', sounded fantastic and I couldn't wait to jump into this novella. I adore his writing, and after reading last year's contribution to Dreamspinner Press's annual Advent Calendar, I was hooked for good. Place in my heart reserved just for Ben Thomas.
